I am so, so late for this blog, but I really appreciated it, Kathy.

I have been a Curves girl for the last 4 or 5 years, but lost my heart for it after my brush with a torn retina. I was looking for something to ease me back into the world of exercise and discovered the senior center (I hate to admit I qualify) had a senior aerobics class. Turns out it is just what I needed! Stretching, light weight lifting, and the aerobics is dancing! Yes. Easy, style dancing, but nevertheless, dancing. I am enjoying my time with people far beyond my years, and also younger than me. It is where I need to be for now, and I am better for it.

Hi Christine!

I don't know who that wise man was, but he was right on. I had to cut back on my exercise and then got the flu.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to comment.

There are no valid excuses. Our human nature tends to keep us in the excuse trap. As a wise man once said: "If you don't make time for exercise today, better make time for illness tomorrow." Thanks for the inspiring reminder and be well! Hope you are 100 % soon.

(I have had two colds in a row, so can sadly, relate! My new treadmill is calling my name. My energy is hiding just around the corner, I'm sure. Off to walk and watch Dr Oz)

Hi Sam!

You are so right! A little bit can add up. You don't even have to do it all at the same time.

Isn't it always so much easier to say, "I'll do it tomorrow?"

Thanks for stopping by and chatting.

Glad you're feeling better Kathy! Your blog inspired me. I need to remember that a workout doesn't have to be 60 minutes of cardio, (which always daunts me and then I end up doing nothing). A little bit of exercise six days a week is way better than a whole lot of, "I'll do three miles tomorrow."

Hi Robena!

The gal that does the free weights and exercise bands tried to introduce Tai Chi into the program, but the seniors didn't get on board. It's a very graceful form of exercise.

I try to get on my treadmill each day and later, walk the dog. I'm not quite up to either right now, but I'm hoping later in the week I can get my 'walk' back on.

Thanks for your visit and comments.

Hi Marian!

I'm recovering slowly. Thanks for noticing I've been out of the action.

Good for you and your status with your resolutions. It's interesting how you divided them up.

Good for your husband's aunt. That's the type of spirit I get to experience during the week. It's so inspiring!

Thanks for taking time out of your day to stop by.

Hi Christine!

You have no idea how uplifting it is to lead these folks in stretching and exercise. They work so hard...

I think it's great that you get our of your office - and how cool to get some photos while you're at it! Thanks for stopping by.
